A note on pricing

Honest Pricing, Quoted Properly

Color pricing depends on real variables — how long and dense your hair is, its color history, how much lightening is involved and how long the appointment needs to be. A published flat price would be wrong for most people who read it, in one direction or the other.

So instead: you get a firm quote before any work begins, and for vivid color and corrections you get it at a complimentary consultation along with the maintenance cost. Nothing starts until you’ve heard the number and agreed to it.

Bright, non-natural color. Each of these begins with a complimentary consultation so the plan, the price and the upkeep are agreed before you’re in the chair.

Fantasy ColorConsultation first

Vibrant, bold shades — pinks, purples, blues, or several fun colors at once — customized to create a striking, creative look that’s yours. This usually requires lightening the hair first, plus regular maintenance to keep the color looking fresh. K18 is used throughout to protect your hair.

Partial Highlight / Balayage

Lightening around the face and through the top and crown for a natural, sun-kissed effect — softer and more blended, with less upkeep than a full highlight. Balayage doesn’t go all the way to the root, so it’s meant to grow out beautifully; retouches every 3–6 months. Highlights blend right up to the root and are retouched every 8–10 weeks.

How do I know which service to book?

If you want a bright, non-natural color, that’s fantasy color and starts with a consultation. If you want brightness that still reads natural, that’s highlights or balayage. If you want to go darker, cover grey or even out your base, that’s all-over color. If you’re not sure, book the complimentary consultation and Cait will point you to the right service — that’s exactly what it’s for.

Do your prices include a blow-dry and style?

Your service includes drying and finishing so you leave looking properly done — Cait isn’t going to send you out wet after two hours of color work. If you want a specific occasion style rather than a standard finish, mention it when you book so the time is allowed for.

How long will my appointment take?

A gloss or hairline touch-up can be under an hour. A root retouch is usually one to two hours. Full highlights or balayage commonly run three to four. Vivid transformations can run longer, sometimes across multiple visits. Your consultation will give you a realistic time so you can plan your day.

Can I combine services in one visit?

Yes, and it’s often the efficient choice — for example a root retouch plus balayage, or color plus a gloss. If you’re booking more than a single process, choose the single process first and add the additional services after it so the timing sequences correctly.

What if I need a color correction?

Color corrections — banding, uneven box dye, a previous service that went wrong, or going much lighter from dark — are quoted individually after an in-person consultation. They’re genuinely custom work and often staged across sessions. Please don’t book a standard service slot for a correction; book the consultation.
