Hi, I’m Cait
I’ve built my work around two things that shouldn’t be in conflict: color that genuinely turns heads, and hair that stays healthy enough to keep wearing it. Vivid color is where I’m happiest — pinks, blues, purples, rainbows, hidden peek-a-boos — but the same care goes into a soft balayage or a grey coverage appointment.
My priorities are your hair’s health, the care you get while you’re in my chair, and your overall wellbeing. That means I’ll be honest with you about what your hair can take, how many sessions your goal really needs, and what it takes to keep it looking good once you leave. I want you to feel loved and special sitting in my chair — not processed through it.

What is vivid or fantasy hair color?
Vivid color — Cait calls it fantasy color — means bold, non-natural shades like hot pink, electric blue, violet, or several colors blended together. Because the pigment has to sit on a pale base, your hair almost always needs lightening first, so the planning and the hair-health side matter as much as the color choice itself.
Do I need a consultation before booking vivid color?
Yes — for fantasy color, peek-a-boo color and block coloring, Cait asks you to book a complimentary consultation first. It lets her check your hair’s condition and color history, then quote honestly on sessions, cost and upkeep. It also protects you from booking a slot that was never going to be long enough.
How long does vivid color last?
Vivid pigments fade faster than natural shades — that’s chemistry, not a defect. With cool water, sulfate-free shampoo, fewer washes and the odd color-depositing refresh, most clients keep color looking strong for four to six weeks, then come in for a top-up. Cait sets your expectations before you commit.
Can I go vivid if my hair is dark or previously colored?
Often yes, but it may take more than one session. Dark or box-dyed hair has to be lifted carefully to a clean pale base, and doing that in one sitting is how hair gets damaged. Cait will map out a staged plan that gets you there with your hair intact.
What is K18 and why does Cait use it?
K18 is a bond-building treatment that helps repair the internal structure of hair during and after chemical services. Cait works it through her lightening, balayage and fantasy color services as standard, because keeping your hair strong is what makes bright color sustainable rather than a one-off.
